EPPI Summaries

CUREE has summarised the four EPPI systematic reviews into CPD into three booklets (tailored for people who lead CPD policy in schools and local authorities, CPD providers and researchers) for the TDA. The summaries provide tools and taster activities that support different groups of colleagues in engaging with the evidence and working out its implications for their context. The evidence covered by the reviews focuses on:

  • the impact of collaborative CPD on teaching and on learning.
  • a comparison of collaborative and individually oriented CPD.
  • the differences between studies of CPD that do and do not offer evidence of pupil impact.
  • the nature of specialist contributions to effective CPD.
