The Centre for the Use of Research and Evidence in Education (CUREE) is an independent consultancy at the leading edge of knowledge management in education.  We work with a range of individuals and organisations, mostly in the public sector. Our clients include government departments and agencies as well as groups of schools, local authorities and other agencies. We provide consultancy, research, knowledge resources and training supporting the use of research and evidence to improve professional practice.

Research Assistant required urgently

Do you want to help to improve learning and/or research? Have you got experience of research and managing your own learning?  We work at the leading edge of knowledge management in education, helping teachers to use evidence about what works in teaching and learning.

We’re looking for someone to help us do research, make it useful to teachers and school leaders  and support professional development for school staff.

You will:

  • be educated to degree level or equivalent;
  • have experience of managing your own projects and helping other people manage theirs;
  • have good organisational, communication and IT skills, and be numerate;
  • have the ability to work positively and effectively as part of a team, and;
  • be enthuiastic and a quick effective learner.

 

We are willing to consider recent graduates and people with more and more relevant experience. Salary will fall within the range £14,000 to £19,000 depending on experience.
