Rebecca Raybould
Rebecca joined CUREE in September 2010 as Principal Research Manager - Research in Action. She has completed a successful headship and has also worked as a deputy and class teacher in a range of schools. In addition she has supported schools in an advisory capacity whilst working for a Local Authority. Having recently completed a Masters in International Studies in Education she is keen to study for her PhD in the near future.
Her initial projects at CUREE include supporting the National Teachers Research Panel (NTRP), carrying out a literature review for the National Strategies and developing a resource to enable schools to access research relevant to their specific priorities.
Rebecca comments: “I know that it can sometimes be difficult for schools to access the research evidence that they need. Yet research and evidence are vital building blocks for school improvement. I am delighted to be joining the CUREE team where my role will focus on making research accessible and engaging for practitioners”.
