Colin Isham

Colin Isham joined CUREE in February 2005, and now leads the content team as Principal Research Manager. Colin’s background is in foreign languages and he taught German, French and English as a Foreign Language in an FE college and went on to become head of department. He is currently studying for a PhD, researching attitudes to bilingual children’s language development.

Colin has contributed to EPPI systematic reviews, and supported teachers in writing research summaries and preparing workshops for the National Teachers’ Research Conference. He also directs The Research Informed Practice Site (TRIPS) evidence digest project, and is involved in projects developing resources for colleagues in the learning and skills sector.
