
Alison is passionate about contributing to the improvement of the education sector and enabling powerful learning experiences for youngsters. Alison's experience includes project management and facilitation, scoping and delivering professional development. She also has Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications and experience in using the full range of marketing and communication tools. Alison’s 20 years of experience have been predominantly focussed on supporting the public sector including the Teachers CPD team at the DCSF, the Gifted and Talented team and the Innovations Unit. During her time at Heads, Teacher and Industry (HTI) she was involved with a number of National College programmes as well as working with individual schools to create bespoke CPD programmes for senior and middle leaders. As Assistant Director in CUREE she has undertaken Project Director for activities with QCDA, TDA and Specialist Schools and Academies Trust. Alison is also responsible for the portfolio of mentoring and coaching resources which have been created following 4 years of research. The suite of six packs provide development activities and resources which school-based staff can use to develop coaches, mentors and professional learners. Alison works widely with Local Authorities who utilise these resources alongside CUREE facilitated development sessions to support their strategic projects.
